Guodian NDT to Demonstrate Pipeline Inspection Crawler at Hannover Messe

Hannover Messe is the world’s leading industrial show and is the best way to discover the full range of technical innovations throughout the whole value chain – from automation to supplier solutions. 

Guodian NDT will be demonstrating Pipeline Inspection Crawler for patrolling and video surveillance. The Crawler is designed to perform remote visual inspection in pipes from DN 100 to 600mm. With spring connection, three motor and six wheel drive, the crawler can travel along vertical, horizontal and 90° bentpipes. The Crawler has auxiliary LED light to provide maximum visibility with its 360-degree continuous tilt 1080p camera head. A Hand-held Monitor is used to control light, focus, direction, and speed. Combined with different sensors to actively lock in on activity, the robotic system allows areas to be observed that are within 100 metres.

We will also demonstrate two more new features – the Magnetic Robotic Crawler, and Tank Chassis Robot Crawler.
